"Traditional Christmas Fudge" A Carnation recipe Ingredients 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine 2/3 cups *undiluted* Carnation evaporated milk (NOT sweetened condensed) 1-1/2 cups of granulated sugar 1/4 teaspon of salt 2 cups (4 oz) mini marshmallow (you can use the big ones, but you'll be doing more work) 1-1/2 cups (9 oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional) Prepare your container. Butter a pan. In a heavy saucepan (large) melt the butter, sugar, evaporated milk and salt. Stir and bring to a heavy boil. Don't stop sirring until 5 minutes is up. Take off heat, dump in choc chips, marshmallows, and vanilla. Stir until everything is melted together and it looks satiny. Add in nuts if desired. Chil until firm.
