Inside Text: "This month's cover is by Gene Brownell, who photographed Linda Blair and Jim Bray for an advertising campaign for Diener/Huaser/Bates Co., Inc. to publicize the movie Roller Boogie. Brownell lit the background with tungsten lighting, using Mole Richardson Mini-Moles, and he used a Norman electronic flash on his subjects. Camera was a Cambo 4x5 with Rodenstock 75mm lens fitted with a star filter; film was Kodak Ektachrome daylight 4x5 film.
